I would also urge you to oppose HJR 140, which would allow a foreign company to mine in the Boundary Waters. This would set a dangerous precedent for all public land to be sold to commercial interests.  Please protect our wilderness from being sold off to the highest bidder.

I condemn ICE's cruel treatment of defenseless children and call for their release from abusive detention camps. There are humane, community-based alternatives to detaining children.  All children held in immigration detention should be immediately released, and these facilities should be permanently shuttered.**

I'm calling to urge [Rep/Sen] to oppose a clean reauthorization of Section 702 of FISA. Section 702’s numerous loopholes allow for unwarranted government surveillance and can be easily manipulated at the expense of Americans’ civil liberties. I ask that they only support its extension with warrant requirements and significant reforms.
